The outcome of the House race is still uncertain, but Republicans are beginning to show optimism about achieving a governing trifecta with their new Senate majority and President-elect Donald Trump. “As more results are reported, it is evident that, as we have always predicted, Republicans are set to have unified control over the White House, Senate, and House,” said Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson in a statement on Wednesday.
